StreamerApp
Last updated: July 22, 2026
StreamerApp ("the app", "we", "our") is a live-streaming production tool for Android that lets you broadcast to RTMP/SRT/SRTLA destinations, overlay chat and other GL widgets, and control your stream from your phone. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how it is protected. StreamerApp has no backend server or account system of its own — almost everything the app processes stays on your device.
| Data type | What it's used for | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Precise / approximate location (GPS) | Weather overlay and map overlay, shown on your own broadcast | Sent directly to OpenWeatherMap and your selected map tile provider (OpenStreetMap, Stadia Maps, Mapbox, or Carto) to fetch weather and map data. Optional — you can disable these overlays in Settings. |
| Twitch / Kick account identifiers (OAuth) | Reading chat, updating your stream title/category | Login token stored locally on your device only, encrypted with your device's own Android Keystore (AES-256-GCM). Used directly with Twitch's/Kick's own APIs. Optional — the app works fully without logging in. |
| Crash logs & diagnostics | Finding and fixing bugs | Sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google) |
| App usage events | Understanding which features are used, improving the app | Sent to Firebase Analytics (Google) |
| Device / installation identifier | Associating crash reports and analytics events with a single install | Generated and used by Firebase (Google) |
StreamerApp does not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, payment information, contacts, calendar data, health data, or browsing history. Camera and microphone data captured while streaming is sent directly to the RTMP/SRT/SRTLA destination you configure — it never passes through any server we operate, and local recordings/screenshots are saved only to your own device's storage.
Depending on which features you enable, StreamerApp communicates directly with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:
All app settings, including third-party login tokens, are stored locally on your device only, encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key tied to your device's own Android Keystore. This means the encrypted data cannot be read even if the raw storage file were extracted from your device, and it never leaves your device except when actively used to talk to the corresponding third-party service (e.g. sending your Twitch token to Twitch's own API).
Since there is no account or server system of ours, there is nothing on our side to retain. All local data is removed the moment you log out of a service in the app, or when you uninstall the app. See our Account & Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
StreamerApp is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is a professional live-streaming production tool that requires configuring servers, stream keys, and third-party accounts, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You control every optional data-collecting feature directly from the app's Settings screen — location (weather/map overlays), third-party logins (Twitch/Kick), and local recording/screenshots can all be turned off. You can request deletion of any locally stored data at any time; see the link above.
We may update this policy from time to time as the app's features change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
